The Canaanite military alliances have long ago been smashed, their sponsors now reconciled to the inevitable settlement of Israel in the land, and Yehoshua has become old. The narrative now turns its attention to more national concerns, as the borders of the nascent state are delineated. This lesson focuses on the borders of Yehuda.
